It's hard for me to put into words how much photography has done for me. Since the beginning of high school I have always had a camera on my side, ready to capture the moment. I think at times it was a way for me to hide away, but then again I've always been quite the wallflower. Now, as an adult it's no longer a crutch, but rather a tool I get to utilize to encapsulate the feeling of motherhood, the joy that children can bring you and the love that is shared between you and your family.
My approach
I'm a wallflower. I shoot like a fly on the wall and I like to keep it that way. I'll help you get into poses, but I try not to make it too "posey" I want to capture you in your element. My goal is to give you back a time capsule of this feeling of fresh new life. Admittedly, I am more mother and child focused because as a mother myself I barely ever have pictures of myself unless I'm setting up my own tripod and wrangling my own feral children into the pictures, bribing them with sweets and screen time (we've all been there right?). Now, that's not to say I leave dad out of it because he will be very much included, but my goal is to make mom happy. Happy wife, happy life fellas!
By the end of the session I want. you to look at me like a new mom friend. When I first started having kids, it was so freaking lonely...I don't want the same for you. SO, we're friends now and I will always be a part of your village!
